Technical description of the product (VC-820):
ATEN HDMI input to 3x RCA audio-video output converter VC-820 with selectable PAL/NTSC video mode. Power supply via Mini USB 5V. If the stored resolution is too high, color bars may appear until the device finds the correct synchronization signal. An external power source is not always necessary (e.g., with some PC video card signals or cables shorter than 5m). With short cables connected close to the power source, interference or noise may occur due to the power connection.
