RPtronics specializes in the distribution and international fulfillment of technical elements, precision capacitors, transistors, and LEDs. Any purchase finalized on this portal implies the customer's explicit, total, and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

2. Product Availability & Catalog Specifications

RPtronics operates an expansive dynamic catalog encompassing over 100,000 stock keeping units (SKUs). Products are described with utmost precision based on official manufacturer technical datasheets.

Offers and prices remain valid for as long as they are visible on the website checkout interface, subject to real-time warehouse volumes. In the rare event that an item becomes completely unavailable after an order has been validated, the customer will be alerted immediately via email, and a suitable alternative component or an immediate full refund will be provided.

3. Pricing, VAT Structures & EU Compliance

All product prices listed on our platform are displayed in Euros (EUR) and exclude shipping fees. RPtronics reserves the right to modify prices at any time to account for market supply chain volatility. However, items will always be invoiced at the rates displayed at the moment of checkout validation.

Cross-Border EU Tax Parameters:

  • For Private Consumers (B2C) in Ireland: In strict compliance with the EU One-Stop-Shop (OSS) rules, sales are subject to Irish VAT (standard rate of 23%) at checkout.
  • For Commercial Accounts (B2B): Corporate entities providing a valid EU VAT number, verified successfully via the VIES (Vat Information Exchange System) database, will be invoiced on a zero-rated intra-community supply basis (Reverse Charge mechanism).

4. Ordering Process & Infrastructure Security

The entire purchase journey is channeled through a secure, bespoke PHP backend script running on our server infrastructure. Customers select their electronic items, review their digital cart, provide accurate shipping and billing coordinates within Ireland, and confirm the purchase layout.

To maintain maximum account integrity and actively thwart malicious automated scripting or brute-force attacks, the registration and order flows are monitored by a cryptographic Proof-of-Work validation mechanism.

5. Methods of Payment

Payment in full is required immediately upon order validation. The accepted electronic channels are:

  • Secure Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard) managed via an SSL-encrypted financial payment gateway.
  • International SEPA Bank Wire Transfer. Our IBAN parameters are automatically generated upon selection. Processing will begin as soon as the funds are settled in our corporate banking account.

6. Shipping Logistics, Timelines & Free Delivery Threshold

To guarantee optimal handling and reduce transit timelines, all electronic packages are consolidated and dispatched from our centralized international logistics hub located at Porte de Savoie (73800), France.

Delivery Channels to Ireland: Packages are delivered in partnership with reliable domestic and international carriers, primarily An Post (the Irish postal service), DPD, DHL, or UPS. Delivery methods include standard Home Delivery, Point of Delivery (PUDO/Parcel Shops), and automated Parcel Lockers where available.

Free Shipping Benefit: Standard delivery fees are waived entirely for any order with a combined technical product value equal to or greater than €80.00 EUR.

7. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

In accordance with the European Union Consumer Rights Directive, consumer buyers residing in Ireland have a legal cooling-off window of 14 calendar days from the date of package delivery to withdraw from the contract without providing any justification.

To qualify for a refund, returned items must be shipped back in their absolute original state, unaltered, and completely free of any soldering marks, modifications, or physical damage. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, except in cases where a fulfillment error has occurred.

8. Legal Warranties & Component Integrity

RPtronics guarantees that all components conform to their technical specifications under the statutory protections provided by Irish consumer law (including the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act) and European standards:

  • Statutory Conformity Warranty: Consumers benefit from a 2-year warranty period covering structural manufacturing issues. This warranty is strictly void if the component has been soldered, subjected to incorrect electrical voltages, altered, or used outside the parameters specified in the manufacturer's official datasheet.
  • Hidden Defects: Customers may invoke protection against hidden material flaws that render the technical product completely unfit for its intended laboratory or industrial application.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. However, for private consumers residing in Ireland, this choice of law does not deprive them of the mandatory protection clauses granted by Irish consumer protection statutes.

In case of any dispute or initial claim, the buyer is invited to contact RPtronics customer support through the online contact form to reach a mutually agreeable amicable solution.

Pursuant to EU Regulation No 524/2013, consumers are also entitled to submit claims through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) network, designed to settle B2C e-commerce arguments out of court. The ODR platform can be accessed via: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
