3. Why We Process Your Data (Purposes & Legal Bases)

The processing of your personal data relies on clear legal bases under Article 6 of the EU GDPR:

• Performance of a Contract: Validating your shopping cart, executing electronic payment transactions, verifying cross-border EU tax parameters (including VIES validation for B2B accounts or OSS reporting), and automatically compiling official commercial invoices.
• Logistical Delivery: Transmission of required name, phone, and address files strictly to our partner shipping carriers (such as An Post, DHL, DPD, or UPS) to dispatch your orders directly from our optimized pôle logistique in Porte de Savoie (France) to Ireland.
• Legitimate Interests: Preserving application security within our custom-built PHP backend architecture and proactively monitoring system parameters to defend against security breaches.

No Data Profiling or Re-selling: RPtronics does not trade, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not use cross-contextual user tracking or behavioral advertising pixels.

All collected personal data is stored safely within secure databases located inside the European Union. Our cloud infrastructure is provided by OVHCLOUD (Roubaix, France) and operated under an isolated, encrypted network environment to prevent unauthorized third-party access.

5. Data Retention

Server system connection logs channelling cybersecurity tracking are automatically purged within 12 months. E-commerce transaction histories, invoices, and purchase logs are retained for a period of up to 10 years to comply with mandatory European and ungarische tax and accounting auditing structures.
