Battery guard. This kit allows you to build a battery charge level monitoring circuit, which was once indispensable in almost every car. Nowadays, in the age of onboard computers, many people smile at its application, so let's consider its construction as a tribute to early technology. The circuit divides the battery terminal voltage into 4 voltage ranges set by Zener diodes (low, medium, good, too high). The two-color light-emitting diode (LED) lights up red in the low range, orange in the medium, and green in the good range. Too high voltage extinguishes the LED. Its construction is recommended for both beginners and advanced users.
