The Embit EMB-Z2538PA is a 2.4 GHz wireless module integrating a cutting-edge 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 core and a state-of-the-art radio transceiver. The advanced ARM architecture facilitates the development of IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee / 6LoWPAN low-power applications to add wireless connectivity and multi-hop networking into existing products. Notable features include: 32-bit ARM Cortex M3 with 512 kB FLASH and 32 kB of SRAM (TI CC2538), up to +20 dBm (100 mW) RF output power, integrated PCB antenna or U.FL connector, open platform. The EMB-Z2538PA ships programmed with Embit firmware which allows employing the module as a simple, ready-to-use modem (using AT-like commands over UART). If custom applications need to be developed, the EMB-Z2538PA-EVK provides all tools required to download custom firmware onto the module. The EMB-Z2538PA modules ship programmed with EBI-802.15.4 which allows the customer to use the modules as a simple, ready-to-use modem (using AT-like commands over UART).
