Technical description of the product (MCP6S22DM-PICTL):

The Microchip MCP6S22 PGA PICtail Demo Board evaluates and demonstrates the Microchip Technology MCP6S21/2/6/8 Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) and MCP6S91/2/3 PGA families. It demonstrates MCP6S22/92 PGA functionality, interfaces to the PICkit 1 Flash Starter kit, and connects directly to a PC via the USB port for stand-alone operation. Features include a 13-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with SPI interface, an optical sensor circuit connected to the PGA, an adjustable voltage source connected to the PGA, and a four-layer PCB with separate ground and power supply planes for noise immunity.
