The MIKROE-4207 I2C Extend Click board is a compact add-on module designed for extending the I2C communication bus over long distances. It features the Analog Devices LTC4331, an I2C slave device extender utilizing a rugged differential link. This point-to-point SMBus compatible extender is optimized for high-noise industrial environments, offering up to 1MHz serial clock support, ±40kV ESD protection on link pins, and selectable link baud rates. Ideal for applications such as sensor installations, industrial control, lighting systems, and sound system control, the board operates with 3.3V or 5V input voltage and is compatible with mikroBUS, featuring GPIO and I2C interfaces. Its dimensions are 57.15 x 25.4 mm (L size).
