The Qi RX Click board is a compact add-on board for wireless power transfer, featuring the Microchip PIC16F15313. This general-purpose 8-bit MCU offers a flexible, low-cost alternative to ASIC-based wireless charging solutions. It provides a simple, low-cost implementation of the Qi 1.1 5W wireless charging standard with a fully-featured Li-Ion charging controller. The board extends product life by reducing mechanical failures from connectors, enabling water and dust-resistant devices. It is suitable for wireless charging applications, cell phones, tablets, small hand-held devices, and embedded electronics. Key features include fully-featured Li-Ion charging, Foreign Object Detection (FOD), and an integrated 5W Qi wireless power receiver.
