The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1506 Joystick Click board offers a smart navigation key concept based on contactless, magnetic movement detection. It features an AS5013 Hall IC and an N50P105 miniature magnetic joystick module. The AS5013 includes five integrated Hall sensing elements monitoring the magnet\'s movement within the joystick, providing X and Y coordinates directly via I2C output. An integrated mechanical push button is also part of the joystick. The board operates with 3.3V logic and power supply only. Ideal for small form-factor manual input devices in battery-operated equipment such as mobile phones, MP3 players, GPS receivers, and gaming consoles. Key features include a lateral magnet movement radius up to +/- 2.0 mm and a simple-to-use I2C interface for reading coordinates. Compatibility with mikroBUS.
