The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1582 MAX3232 RS232 Click Board provides an interface between TTL/CMOS logic levels commonly used on microcontrollers and the RS-232 bus. It features an RS232 DB9 port and mikroBUS RX (RXD), TX (TXD), CS (RTS), and INT (CTS) pins. The Click board utilizes the MAX3232, a 3.0V to 5.5V low power, true RS-232 transceiver from Maxim Integrated. This device achieves communication speeds up to 232 kbps (EIA/TIA-232). It is compatible with 3.3V or 5V power supply.
