Technical description of the product (MIKROE-1587):

The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1587 MQ-5 LPG Gas Sensor Click Board carries an MQ-5 sensor for detecting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leakage. The gas sensing layer is made of Tin dioxide (SnO2), with conductivity increasing as LPG levels rise. The detection range of the sensor is 200-10000 ppm of LPG. A potentiometer allows calibration of the sensor by adjusting the load resistance. For precise calibration, a preheat time of 24 hours is required. The board communicates through the AN (OUT) mikroBUS line and is designed to use a 5V power supply only.
