The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-2000 Heart Rate click board is a pulse oximetry and heart rate monitoring solution. It incorporates Maxim\'s MAX30100 integrated sensor, which uses two integrated LEDs (IR and red), a photosensitive element, and a precise low-noise analog front end for accurate readings. By placing a finger on the sensor, both heart rate and blood oxygen saturation can be obtained via the I2C interface. Features like Ambient Light Cancellation (ALC) and discrete time filters prevent interference from ambient light or 50/60Hz hum. It operates on a 3.3V power supply.
