The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-257 8051-Ready Board provides a solution for fast and simple development of 20-pin, 44-pin DIP, and PLCC44 8051 microcontroller applications. It includes connectors for the 8051prog2 in-system stand-alone programmer, enabling MCU programming without additional devices. IDC10 connectors linked to the MCU pins allow connection of numerous additional modules, creating a flexible working environment. This tool also integrates an FT232R USB to serial UART interface, simplifying USB to serial designs by incorporating an external EEPROM, USB termination resistors, and an integrated clock circuit without an external crystal.
