Technical description of the product (MIKROE-259):
The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-259 board features two 8-bit non-inverting bus transceivers LVXC3245. All inputs and outputs are 5V tolerant. The LVXC3245 is manufactured in advanced dual metal CMOS technology. This bus transceiver contains two separate supply rails that allow transition from a 5V to a 3.3V system environment. The board contains the MC33269DT-3.3 - 3.3V Voltage regulator which can be enabled using J17 jumper and create a 3.3V power supply for the Low Voltage Port. It offers a bidirectional interface between 3V and 3V-to-5V buses, and outputs source/sink up to 24 mA. Key benefits include a Minimum Input Edge Rate (dV/dt) of 8 ns/V, and guaranteed simultaneous switching noise level and dynamic threshold performance. The interface is GPIO, input voltage is 3.3V or 5V, and compatibility is IDC10.
