The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-2887 MIC33153 Click is an adjustable DC-DC step-down (buck) converter. It delivers substantial current to demanding loads, with an output voltage up to 3.5V. Key features include ultra-fast transient response and ripple-free output voltage. The proprietary HyperLight Load™ technology ensures highly efficient step-down conversion, even for very light loads. This buck converter is suitable for power supplies in portable GPS devices, mobile handsets, media players, wireless LAN cards, and similar applications requiring clean power and high DC-DC conversion efficiency. On-board modules include the MIC33153 4MHz DC-DC buck regulator with integrated inductor and HyperLight Load™ technology, and the MCP4921 12-bit DAC converter with SPI interface, both from Microchip. Features: high efficiency, low output voltage ripple throughout the whole load range, soft start feature, thermal shutdown and current limit protection, up to 1.2A of current, HyperLight Load™ technology, adjustable output voltage and power good indication.
