Technical description of the product (MIKROE-3446):

The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-3446 ECG 5 Click Board is suitable for the development of ECG and Heart-Rate (HR) applications. The Click board features the AD8232, an integrated bio-signal front end. This IC includes many features necessary for providing accurate ECG measurements, such as a very high common-mode rejection ratio, high gain with DC blocking capability, adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, and an integrated Right Leg Drive (RLD). An electrodes presence detection pin helps reduce overall power consumption, as it can set the standby mode of the host MCU. The fully conditioned bio-signal is available at the analog output for sampling by an external A/D converter. ECG 5 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which simplifies software development. This fully tested Click board is ready for use on systems equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket. It is an ideal solution for the development of health-related ECG applications, including fitness and activity heart rate monitors, portable ECGs, wearable and remote health monitors, and similar.
