The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-3448 Audio Amp 6 click board features the TPA3138D2, a stereo Class-D integrated audio amplifier from Texas Instruments. This amplifier is capable of delivering up to 18.5W per channel with a 4Ω load. Designed for high efficiency and low power dissipation (approx. 20mA in idle mode), it is an excellent choice for various battery-powered applications. It incorporates advanced EMI Suppression with Spread Spectrum Control, enabling the use of ferrite bead filters while maintaining required EMC levels. The TPA3138D2 IC is equipped with a comprehensive set of protection features for reliable operation. The Audio Amp 6 click board is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library and is ready for use on systems with a mikroBUS™ socket. Ideal for building home theater 2.1, 4.1, 5.1 or 7.1 systems, as well as for battery-powered Bluetooth® and wireless speakers, TV sets, PC monitors, and other consumer audio equipment.
