The MIKROE-3456 RV-3028-C7 is an xtreme low power real-time clock/calendar (RTC) module, I2C, 3.3V, 5V. RTC 8 Click is a real-time clock module with extremely low power consumption, allowing operation with a single button cell battery for an extended period. The RV-3028-C7 module, built on the RTC 8 Click, outputs time in standard format and 32-bit UNIX format. An integrated, factory-calibrated XTAL operating at 32.768 kHz ensures very low time deviation. Compensation and offset data are stored in the internal non-volatile memory. Configuration parameters can also be password-protected. An advanced interrupt feature enables various uses such as alarm function, countdown timer function, external event detection with time stamp, and more. Type: RTC. Applications: RTC 8 Click is a perfect solution for IoT, wearable, portable devices, logging devices, industrial and health-related time metering applications, and all other applications requiring an accurate time-base.
