With the StartUSB for PIC Board, you can build numerous USB devices. Simply place your additional components on the prototyping areas to create a complete device. It functions as a final product or a standalone unit. The board features a PIC18F2550 device with USB 2.0 support. An on-board miniUSB connector, oscillator, reset circuit, and power indicator LED provide all essentials for a quick start. All MCU pins are accessible via connection pads. Programming: The board comes preprogrammed with a fast USB HID bootloader, eliminating the need for external programmers. This is an optimal solution for quick and easy .HEX file downloads to the MCU, unless an In-Circuit debugger is required. For more information on the mikroBootloader application, consult the \'How To Use Bootloader\' manual. Code programming/debugging is also possible via mikroProg for PIC, dsPIC, and PIC32 using the on-board connector.
