Resistor networks
Resistor networks are integrated electronic components that combine multiple discrete resistors into a single, compact package. By housing several resistive elements on a common substrate, these networks ensure excellent thermal tracking and highly precise resistance ratios that are difficult to achieve with individual components.
They are essential for applications requiring consistent performance across multiple channels, such as:
- Voltage Dividers: Maintaining accurate voltage ratios in precision circuits.
- Pull-up/Pull-down Arrays: Simplifying digital logic board layouts and saving space.
- Analog-to-Digital Conversion: Providing stable reference points for signal processing.
Available in various configurations—including isolated, bussed, and dual-terminator—and packages such as SIP (Single In-line Package), DIP (Dual In-line Package), and SMD (Surface Mount Device), resistor networks reduce component count, lower assembly costs, and enhance overall circuit reliability.
