The Stmicroelectronics BTW68-800 is a RoHS compliant thyristor featuring a repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) of 800V and an average on-state current (IT(AV)) of 19A. Its gate trigger current (Igt) is typically 50mA, with a maximum holding current (Ih) of 75mA. The device offers an on-state surge current (ITSM) of 420A (for a 8.3ms pulse) and a repetitive peak on-state current (IT(RSM)) of 30A (at TC=85°C). Housed in an insulated TO-3P (TO-218 SOT-93 / TOP-3) package, it is designed for PCB through-hole mounting. Suitable for applications requiring 50 Hz operation.
