Technical description of the product (TLC5940NT):
The Texas Instruments TLC5940NT is a 16-channel LED driver with dot correction in a 28-pin DIP package. It supports monocolor, multicolor, and full-color LED displays with 12-bit (4096 steps) grayscale PWM control and 6-bit (64 steps) dot correction. LED power supply is 17 V. Drive capability is 0-60 mA (VCC < 3.6 V) and 0-120 mA (VCC > 3.6 V). The component is through-hole mounted (THT), ROHS compliant, and designed for an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C at a VCC of 3-5.5 V.
